Values-Based Performance Appraisal

Quality Safety Edge works with clients to assist with the design and implementation of behavior-based performance appraisal processes that address key results, processes, and values. Values-Based Appraisal Process builds on the organization’s stated values in a way that develops management ownership and support. A well-designed process improves feedback and communication in a way that contributes to increased teamwork and empowerment of all employees without the fear associated with traditional appraisals.

We provide a full range of support services for organizations wishing to enhance the effectiveness of their appraisal process. Quality Safety Edge has worked with organizations such as Union Carbide to develop a custom set of workshop materials for the effective implementation of a new appraisal process. We also provide in-depth support for the planning and development of a new Values-Based appraisal process. Quality Safety Edge worked with Brown and Root’s corporate Human Resource & Development department to develop and implement a cutting-edge appraisal process that included a train-the-trainer process with forms and training materials to support implementation. Such systems often include “360 degree” feedback from internal and external customers and coworkers as well as management personnel.
